![]() i read that bethesda partnered with one of the companies and it pretty much screwed everyone who had anything but an nvidia over. I've read in places on here and other pages that there's problems with the tessellation and the software used to render things like the trees, hair, grass and weather effects. used the program to force dx11_1 and warp, but i'm not ultimately sure what that helped, as i couldn't even get into the game past the launcher until i inserted TdrLevel in the registry input a new d-word in the graphics registry (TdrLevel, make sure you capitalize that) set at 0 (but this must be applied every time you start your pc, otherwise it won't 'turn on' in the program automatically)ģ. I've been doing a lot of reading over the past few days on how this runs and what the different problems could be and how to fix those others have already figured out.Ģ. ![]() it works stable and without crashes, after i figured out the TdrLevel thing alongside what i'd already done. i've never been frozen but i've been at ♥♥♥♥♥♥ fps that it felt like it, though. I would like to mention that i play fallout 4 for hours before i quit, and i don't crash out. 3 at high settings, lag if the place is coming down at you all at once), basically every source game ever on high/ultra, depending games it can run: bioshock infinite on ultra (it heats up very quickly, have to stop after 3 hours and lower it or let it cool off and charge but is stable for 10 hours on medium or lower settings), f.e.a.r. cpu: intel i5 at 1.7ghz, can overclock to 3.4 brand of pc: samsung series 5 ultratouch i can play on full screen, hallelujah! my specs are: ![]() i got fallout 4 to run well on my absolute potato, but like everyone else my framerate drops to hell whenever i go inside certain areas (or any indoor area at all other than the overworld houses you can build, i'm only 5-8 hours in). new to reddit but i thought i had something to share.
